Antionette has been involved with Christchurch Labour for over 10 years and has spent considerable amount of time volunteering within the community. She is retired, having spent most of her working life in the care industry she now volunteers her time with the local community group Christchurch in Action, which aims to reduce social isolation. She also attends the local residence association, taking a great deal of interest in local issues.

She has lived in Christchurch for 30 years and has five grown-up children, who have all attended local schools. She has stood three times in the local elections in the past and is passionate and dedicated in her desire to help the local community.

Peter has been a member of the local community for a number of years, but before he retired, he worked within the oil industry, working in the North Sea for 26 years and 10 years in Africa. He has worked tirelessly with the desire to see everybody in society treated fairly and work for the many not the few.

He has spent years campaigning for Labour and standing as Bournemouth East’s Parliamentary Labour candidate in 2015, having also stood as Dorset County Council candidate in the Commons Ward in 2013 and 2017. Peter was born in Barton-on-Sea and grew up in Hurn, Ringwood and Bournemouth before settling in Christchurch.
